Economic confidence index fell 1 percent monthly in April to 99
The economic confidence index fell by 1 percent on a monthly basis in April, reaching a value of 99.
The Turkish Statistical Institute has announced the economic confidence index data for April.
Accordingly, the index, which was 100 in March, fell by 1 percent in April to 99.
In the same period, the consumer confidence index increased by 1.4 percent to 80.5, and the retail trade sector confidence index rose by 1.9 percent to 115.5.
The services sector confidence index recorded a 2.8 percent decrease, falling to 117.1.
The real sector (manufacturing industry) confidence index remained unchanged at 103.5, and the construction sector confidence index also showed no change, remaining at 88.6.
