Economist Barış Soydan announces: Installment options for credit cards are being removed

Those who have lost their purchasing power in the face of high inflation have turned heavily to credit cards.

Furthermore, while credit card usage remains at a high level despite the increase in interest rates, economist Barış Soydan has claimed that the number of installments on credit cards is being removed.

Sharing on his social media account, Soydan stated the following:

"Continuing to suppress demand even further: News is coming in that one of the largest private banks has removed installments for corporate cards as of yesterday, limited the number of installments on individual cards to 2, and that firms defined as wholesale installment brands will not be able to offer installments in any way."
