Electricity prices at record levels tomorrow! Natural gas prices are also rising
Prices set for tomorrow in the spot electricity market have reached record levels. The price of one megawatt-hour of electricity has been set at a maximum of 2,581 Turkish Lira and 68 kuruş, and a minimum of 1,049 Turkish Lira and 99 kuruş. In the spot natural gas market, the reference price for 1,000 cubic meters of gas was set at 10,794 Turkish Lira and 96 kuruş yesterday. This price shows an increase compared to the previous day.
The price of one megawatt-hour of electricity in the spot market has been set at a maximum of 2,581 Turkish Lira and 68 kuruş and a minimum of 1,049 Turkish Lira and 99 kuruş for tomorrow.
According to data from Energy Markets Operation Inc. (EPİAŞ), the trading volume in the spot electricity market decreased by 21% today compared to the previous day, reaching 1 billion 247 million 935 thousand 38 Turkish Lira.
In the day-ahead market, the price of one megawatt-hour of electricity for tomorrow was determined to be at its highest at 18:00 with 2,581 Turkish Lira and 68 kuruş, and at its lowest at 06:00 with 1,049 Turkish Lira and 99 kuruş.
In the day-ahead market, the arithmetic average price of one megawatt-hour of electricity was 1,786 Turkish Lira and 35 kuruş, while the weighted average price was 1,840 Turkish Lira and 68 kuruş.
In the spot market, the price of one megawatt-hour of electricity was recorded at a maximum of 2,700 Turkish Lira and a minimum of 1,248 Turkish Lira and 98 kuruş today.
In the spot natural gas market, the reference price for 1,000 cubic meters of gas was set at 10,794 Turkish Lira and 96 kuruş yesterday.
According to data from Energy Markets Operation Inc., the trading volume in the spot natural gas market was 12 million 3 thousand 994 Turkish Lira yesterday. This amount was announced as 11 million 680 thousand 525 Turkish Lira the previous day.
In the spot natural gas market, the reference price for 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas was 10,794 Turkish Lira and 96 kuruş yesterday, and the gas trade volume was 1 million 112 thousand cubic meters.
The balancing gas purchase price for market participants was set at 11,334 Turkish Lira and 71 kuruş, and the sales price was set at 10,255 Turkish Lira and 21 kuruş.
Yesterday, 193 million 338 thousand 568 cubic meters of natural gas were supplied to Turkey. The amount of natural gas supplied to the market was recorded as 192 million 530 thousand 494 cubic meters.
