Electricity production and consumption are in balance!
In Turkey, 941 thousand 534 megawatt-hours of electricity were produced on a daily basis yesterday, while consumption stood at 940 thousand 26 megawatt-hours.
According to data from Türkiye Elektrik İletim AŞ, the highest electricity consumption yesterday was recorded at 44 thousand 113 megawatt-hours at 11:00, while the lowest consumption was recorded at 31 thousand 940 megawatt-hours at 05:00.
Imported coal power plants ranked first in production with a 21.9 percent share, followed by wind power plants with 19 percent and dammed hydroelectric power plants with 17.5 percent.
Turkey exported 6 thousand 811 megawatt-hours of electricity yesterday, while it imported 5 thousand 334 megawatt-hours of electricity.
