SpaceX, which went public in June, has announced its financial results for the third quarter of 2026. The company's revenue for the July-September period rose by 161 percent compared to the same period last year, reaching 14.6 billion dollars. SpaceX had reported 5.6 billion dollars in revenue in the third quarter of 2025.
The growth in revenue was driven by artificial intelligence activities and an increase in the number of Starlink subscribers. Revenue from the company's artificial intelligence segment grew by 830 percent year-over-year to 7.6 billion dollars. Connectivity segment revenues rose by 69 percent to 5.2 billion dollars, while revenue from space operations increased by 6 percent to 1.8 billion dollars.
SpaceX achieved a net profit of 4.4 billion dollars in the third quarter. The company had recorded a net loss of 1.05 billion dollars in the same period last year. Earnings per share were calculated at 35 cents, compared to a loss of 36 cents per share in the third quarter of 2025.
According to the results, both SpaceX's revenue and profitability exceeded market expectations. The company's total capital expenditures in the third quarter reached 19.6 billion dollars, with over 16 billion dollars of this allocated to artificial intelligence investments.
Growth also continued on the operational side. SpaceX conducted 113 launches in the January-September period. The number of Starlink satellites in orbit exceeded 11 thousand, while the number of countries with Starlink coverage reached 174.
The number of Starlink subscribers, which was 12 million at the end of June, rose to 13.6 million by the end of September. It was also noted that the company used the term "super intelligence" instead of artificial intelligence in its balance sheet statement.
In an investor conference regarding the financial results, SpaceX CEO Elon Musk projected that the company could generate between 500 billion and 1 trillion dollars in annual revenue by the end of 2027.
