ENAG announces December inflation data
The Inflation Research Group (ENAG) has announced its inflation data for December. According to ENAG data, the Consumer Price Index (E-CPI) increased by 4.12 percent in December. The increase in the E-CPI for the year 2023 was 127.21 percent.
The Inflation Research Group (ENAG) presents its independently calculated inflation rate to the public every month.
It is noteworthy that there is a significant gap between the rates announced by ENAG and those of the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK).
According to data from the Inflation Research Group (ENAG), which is composed of independent academics and economists, the Consumer Price Index (E-CPI) increased by 4.12 percent in December. The increase in the E-CPI for the year 2023 was 127.21 percent.
In November, the monthly E-CPI had increased by 5.58 percent, while the annual increase was 129.27 percent.
All eyes have now turned to the inflation data to be announced by TÜİK at 10:00 AM.
