ENAG announces May inflation data

The Inflation Research Group (ENAG) has announced its inflation data for May. According to ENAG data, the Consumer Price Index (E-CPI) increased by 5.66 percent in May. The 12-month increase in the E-CPI stood at 120.66 percent.

ENAG announces May inflation data

The Inflation Research Group (ENAG), an independent body formed by academics and economists, has announced its inflation data for May.

According to ENAG data, the Consumer Price Index (E-CPI) increased by 5.66 percent in May. The 12-month increase in the E-CPI stood at 120.66 percent.

ENAG had announced the inflation rate for April as 5.02 percent. According to ENAG, the 12-month increase in the E-CPI in April was 124.35 percent.

HOUSEHOLD GOODS LEAD THE WAY

The product group with the highest price increase was household goods. The inflation rate for household goods in May was 11.39 percent. Inflation for clothing and footwear products was 11.11 percent.
