According to the data released by the group, the 12-month increase rate of the E-CPI was 46.61 percent. ENAG announced the result to the public through a statement on its social media account.

— ENAG statement

ENAG data is monitored alongside the data announced by the official statistical agency, TurkStat, in discussions regarding inflation in Turkey. Since the calculation methods and data sets of the two institutions differ, the results can sometimes diverge.

While TurkStat data is taken as the basis for official practices such as economic decisions, salary adjustments, and rent increases, ENAG data is followed by the public as an alternative inflation indicator. For this reason, the debate over "real inflation" is evaluated not just through a single rate, but through the methods used and the scope of the price movements measured.
