Sharing on his X account, Veysel Ulusoy drew attention to budget data.
Ulusoy stated the following:
"The budgets of countries are also indicators of inflation and economic growth. Turkey's central budget, which was 1.6 trillion lira in 2021, reached 11 trillion lira in 2024. The increase rate is 587%. Do we understand the real inflation rate now?"
INFLATION GAP
According to data from the Inflation Research Group (ENAG), the CPI increased by 5.58 percent monthly in November, and the 12-month inflation was announced as 129.27 percent. According to the inflation data for November from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), the CPI increased by 3.28 percent on a monthly basis, while it showed an increase of 61.98 percent on an annual basis.
