Erdoğan makes statement on retiree and civil servant salaries
Speaking at the 4th Extraordinary Grand Congress of the AKP, AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated that they would not allow workers, civil servants, and retirees to be crushed by inflation. Erdoğan said, "Our ministry is working on the salaries of our retired civil servants. We will announce our new good news to our retired civil servants after our first cabinet meeting, God willing."

Stating that they are determined to solve the problem of the cost of living by taking all necessary measures, Erdoğan said, “We will continue to give new good news in the coming period to our workers, civil servants, and retirees, whom we have not allowed to be crushed by inflation for the last 21 years. Our ministry is working on the salaries of our retired civil servants. We will announce our new good news to our retired civil servants after our first cabinet meeting, God willing”.
