Expropriation decision for 2 more TPAO fields

Accordingly, an expropriation decision was made for 2 fields in Siirt upon the application of the Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TPAO).

Accordingly, evaluating TPAO's application, MAPEG decided to expropriate parcels within the borders of Saipbeyli village, Kurtalan district, Siirt province, which are necessary for petroleum operations, are in the public interest to be expropriated, cannot be purchased through agreement due to demands for prices above the market rate, and are subject to an urgent seizure order.

On the other hand, the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA) decision regarding the Procedures and Principles for Transactions to be Established in Case of Incorrect Measurement Recording or Failure to Record Measurement in Meters Located in the Transmission System, and Interference with the Meter or Measurement Circuit, was also published in the Official Gazette. Accordingly, EMRA will determine the methods to be used in determining the user's meter data and the time of interference in cases where the main meter or both the main and backup meters at measurement points connected to the transmission system cannot be read remotely, are read incorrectly, do not record, are found to have measured incorrectly as a result of control and testing, have their seals broken, or where interventions that prevent the meters from measuring correctly are detected.
