Financial support from the ministry for women who give birth: Payments to be made via PTT
The Ministry of Family and Social Services will provide financial support to women who give birth. Special support will be provided to women who meet certain criteria through PTT.
Good news has arrived for mothers who give birth in Turkey. The state is providing a cash grant of 1,300 TL to mothers who give birth. This assistance is managed by the Ministry of Family and Social Services and is paid out through PTT.
HOW TO RECEIVE ASSISTANCE?
Mothers who wish to receive the birth grant must apply via e-Devlet. The application requirements are to be a Turkish citizen and to have had a live birth. The amount of the birth grant varies for each child born on or after May 15, 2015.
This cash assistance provided by the state to mothers who give birth aims to improve the economic situation of families and reduce financial difficulties following childbirth. Furthermore, this assistance is intended to encourage greater focus on the health of mothers and babies and to increase birth rates.
The state also offers many social assistance programs to make life easier for women. Women who live alone or face financial hardship can also benefit from these programs. The state continues its efforts to strengthen the position of women in society and increase the welfare of families.
