First a hike, then a discount: Prices dropped for one cigarette group
Erol Dündar, President of the Monopoly Dealers Solidarity Association (TBYD), announced that the JTI group has implemented a 1 TL discount on some brands after its competitors applied lower price hikes.
Following the March 31 Local Elections, cigarette groups increased the prices of their products. While the JTI group was the first to implement a hike, news of price increases also came from other groups.
