Former chief economist Hakan Kara explains why the stock market is rising: He pointed to the inflation-election equation
Prof. Dr. Hakan Kara, former chief economist of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (TCMB), evaluated the rise in the stock market in a post on his X account. Kara stated, "In my opinion, the most important reason is that an election break has been given to the fight against inflation."
As the BIST 100 index continues its rise on Borsa Istanbul, Prof. Dr. Hakan Kara, former chief economist of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (TCMB), made an evaluation regarding the rise in the stock market on his X account.
Kara used the following expressions in his post:
