Fuat Oktay meets with Turkish businesspeople and youth in Latvia
AK Party Ankara Deputy and Chairman of the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) Foreign Affairs Committee, Fuat Oktay, met with Turkish businesspeople in Riga, the capital of Latvia.
AK Party Ankara Deputy and Chairman of the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) Foreign Affairs Committee, Fuat Oktay, met with the Turkish community in Latvia while in Riga for the Turkey-Baltic Countries (Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania) Parliaments Foreign Affairs Committees Meeting.
Oktay met with representatives of the Turkish business world operating in Latvia and young people pursuing their education in the country to listen to their expectations and concerns. During the meeting, consultations were held regarding the resolution of the issues encountered.
Within the scope of his visit, Oktay also met with Ambassador Şule Öztunç, DTİK (World Turkish Business Council) Latvia President Fuat Aydemir, and Latvian-Turkish Chamber of Commerce (LVTCC) President Hakan Uzunosmanoğlu.
Oktay emphasized that being the voice of every citizen living abroad and standing by them in every area they need is both a responsibility and a debt of gratitude.
DTİK Latvia President Fuat Aydemir and LVTCC President Hakan Uzunosmanoğlu conveyed the problems and demands of Turkish businesspeople and the Turkish diaspora in the region to Oktay.
