2025 pension hike to be announced: How much will the lowest pension be?

The pension increase for the new year is being determined. Following the increase that will emerge once the inflation data is finalized, the Ministry will begin its work to determine the floor figure, and an official announcement will be awaited.

HOW MUCH WILL THE PENSION INCREASE BE IN 2025?

SSK and Bağ-Kur retirees, who receive raises twice a year in January and July, see their increases based on 6-month inflation figures.

Calculations have been made based on the 5-month data ahead of the increase rate that will emerge with the final data to be announced at the beginning of January.

According to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute, inflation was 2.24 percent on a monthly basis in November, while it fell to 47.09 percent on an annual basis.

Following the announced inflation data, the 5-month pension increase rate emerged as 14.57 percent.

For civil servants and retired civil servants, the rate is 10.40 percent.

HOW MUCH WILL THE LOWEST PENSION BE?

The lowest pension, currently at the 12,500 TL level, is rising to the 14,000 level based on the 5-month increase. However, the lower limit will gain clarity through budget work.

For this reason, an official announcement will be awaited for the lowest figure after the final inflation data is released.
