2025 widow and orphan pension holiday bonus amounts have been determined

Retiree holiday bonuses are deposited into accounts every year during Ramadan and Eid al-Adha. Since the bonuses paid to those receiving widow and orphan pensions are also paid according to the share ratio, they will be deposited into accounts in different amounts.

Those receiving widow and orphan pensions do not need to make a separate application to benefit from the bonuses. Payments will be made through the banks where the monthly pension is received. Widow and orphan pensions are paid at rates of 25, 50, and 75 percent depending on the share ratio.

So, how much has the widow and orphan pension holiday bonus increased?

HOW MUCH IS THE 2025 WIDOW AND ORPHAN PENSION HOLIDAY BONUS?

The holiday bonus amounts for 2025 have been redetermined. AK Party Group Chairman Güler announced in a statement that the new bonus is 4 thousand liras.

Those receiving widow and orphan pensions will benefit from the holiday bonus payment according to their share ratios. If there are no children, 75 percent of the holiday bonus will be paid to the spouse of the deceased insured person. If there are children, 50 percent will be paid. Those receiving a death pension will benefit from 25 percent of the bonus.

Those receiving a widow and orphan pension at a 75 percent share ratio will receive 3,000 liras.

The bonus for those receiving a widow's pension at a 50 percent share ratio will be paid as 2 thousand liras this year.

Those receiving a death pension and paid according to a 25 percent share ratio will be paid 1,000 liras as a bonus.

WHO CAN RECEIVE THE HOLIDAY BONUS?

Those who receive a retirement pension, old-age pension, duty disability pension, disability pension, death pension, permanent incapacity income, and death income from the Social Security Institution (SGK), as well as relatives of martyrs, veterans, combat veterans, security guards, champion athletes, and civilian citizens harmed by terrorism, and the beneficiaries of these individuals, receive the holiday bonus.
