Attention vehicle owners! A major price hike is coming

The October inflation figures have been announced by TUIK. Following the release of the inflation data, the rate of increase for vehicle inspection fees in 2025 has been determined. Vehicle inspection fees will be increased by 43.93 percent.

2025 VEHICLE INSPECTION FEES

Following the latest inflation data, the vehicle inspection fees to be applied in 2025 are as follows;

For tractors, motorcycles, and mopeds, inspection fees will increase from 927.60 TL to 1,335 TL,

The inspection fee for automobiles, minibuses, pickup trucks, off-road vehicles, special-purpose vehicles, and trailers will increase from 1,821.60 TL to 2,622 TL,

The inspection fee for buses, trucks, and tractor units will rise from 2,462.40 TL to 3,544 TL.

REVALUATION RATE

The annual average Producer Price Index (PPI) increase rate, which occurs at the end of October each year, emerges as the revaluation rate for the following year. This year's revaluation rate was finalized at 49 percent with the announcement of the October inflation figures.

With the change in the revaluation rate, vehicle inspection fees, as well as traffic fines and the Motor Vehicle Tax (MTV), will also increase.
