Comprehensive list before the July raise: Severance pay, paid military service fee, family allowance… Everything is changing!

With the approach of July, public attention has turned to the June inflation data that the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) will announce on July 3. With the data to be announced, the official inflation rate for the first 6 months of 2025 will be finalized, and accordingly, the increase rates to be applied to civil servant, retiree, and social assistance payments will be determined.

INFLATION + COLLECTIVE BARGAINING RAISE

While the Central Bank's inflation expectation for June is set at 1.61 percent, if this materializes, the total six-month inflation rate will be 16.94%.

In this case, the inflation difference calculated for civil servants will be 10.32%, and the collective bargaining raise will be 5%, bringing the total salary increase to the 15.84% level.

This increase means that new amounts will be determined for many items related to the civil servant salary coefficient.

To finalize these increases, the June inflation data that TÜİK will announce on July 3 must be awaited. In line with the data to be announced, the new salary coefficient will be applied, and both public officials and citizens receiving social assistance will enter the new period with these figures.
