If the bonus is set at 5,000 TL, retirees will receive a total of 10,000 TL for the Ramadan and Eid al-Adha holidays. If the amount is increased to 5,500 TL, the total payment for the two holidays will rise to 11,000 TL.

In the 6,000 TL scenario, which is mentioned as the highest option, it is projected that a total payment of 12,000 TL will be made to retirees for the two holidays.

WHO WILL BENEFIT?

Retirees under the scope of SSK (4A), Bağ-Kur (4B), and the Retirement Fund (4C) will benefit from the holiday bonus. In addition, those receiving disability and duty disability pensions, holders of permanent incapacity income, those receiving the 65-year-old pension, relatives of martyrs, veterans, and widows and orphans are also included in the payment scope.

For those receiving widow and orphan pensions, the bonus will be deposited in proportion to their pension shares. For those receiving permanent incapacity income, payments will be made according to their disability report rates.

PAYMENT TABLE BASED ON SHARES HAS BECOME CLEAR

Calculations based on shares have also taken shape according to the possible amounts. If the bonus is 5,000 TL, beneficiaries with a 75 percent share will receive 3,750 TL, those with a 50 percent share will receive 2,500 TL, and those with a 25 percent share will receive 1,250 TL.

If the amount increases to 5,500 TL, these figures will be 4,125 TL, 2,750 TL, and 1,375 TL, respectively. In the 6,000 TL scenario, a payment of 4,500 TL will be made for a 75 percent share, 3,000 TL for a 50 percent share, and 1,500 TL for a 25 percent share. Thus, widows and orphans will be able to receive a total bonus between 7,500 TL and 9,000 TL for the two holidays.

WHAT WILL THE PAYMENT SCHEDULE BE?

According to the schedule, since Ramadan Bayram falls between March 20–24, the first bonus is expected to be deposited into accounts between March 9–14.
