Eid al-Adha bonus for retirees: When will it be deposited into accounts?

The schedule for the retiree holiday bonus before the 2025 Eid al-Adha has begun to take shape. As in every year, it is expected that a 4,000 TL holiday bonus will be deposited into retirees' accounts approximately one week before the holiday. A similar schedule was applied during Eid al-Fitr.

WHEN WILL THE BONUSES BE DEPOSITED?

Eid al-Adha 2025 begins on Thursday, June 6 this year. Looking at past payment schedules, it is anticipated that the bonuses will begin to be deposited as of Monday, June 2. However, the official dates will become clear once announced by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security.

WHO WILL RECEIVE IT?

The holiday bonus is paid not only to Social Security Institution (SGK) retirees but also to the following groups:

Those receiving a retirement pension

Those receiving disability, duty disability, or death benefits

Recipients of permanent incapacity income

Relatives of martyrs and veterans

Combat veterans and security guards

Victims of terrorism and their beneficiaries

Those receiving old-age pensions (over 65)

Champion athletes

Everyone included in these groups will be able to receive the payment without needing to make any application.

HOW MUCH IS THE HOLIDAY BONUS?

The Eid al-Adha bonus for 2025 has been set at 4,000 TL. This figure was paid at the same amount during Eid al-Fitr. The bonuses, which have increased in recent years, have become an important source of financial support for retirees.

PAYMENTS WILL BE MADE AUTOMATICALLY

Holiday bonuses will be automatically deposited into the accounts where retirement pensions are paid. No separate application is required for the bonus, which can be collected through banks or PTT branches.
