Former AKP deputy reveals: The figure discussed in the corridors for the minimum wage has leaked!
Former AKP deputy Ali Turan shared information he obtained from behind-the-scenes sources regarding the 2026 minimum wage increase.
As minimum wage negotiations begin, the figures being discussed in Ankara's political lobbies are coming to light.
Evaluations by journalist Barış Yarkadaş and former AKP deputy Ali Turan have revealed the prominent raise scenarios for 2026.
With the new year approaching, millions of employees are eagerly waiting to see what the minimum wage will be in 2026.
Successive information coming from the lobbies has begun to make the potential range of figures clearer.
Journalist Barış Yarkadaş and former AKP deputy Ali Turan made noteworthy assessments regarding the raise rates that could be applied in 2026.
YARKADAŞ: IT IS DIFFICULT FOR THE HIGH DEMAND TO BE MET
Speaking on TGRT Haber, which is close to the government, journalist Barış Yarkadaş stated that it seems difficult for the high figures brought to the agenda by Türk-İş to be accepted.
Yarkadaş conveyed that, according to his impressions from the lobbies, expectations are concentrated around the 27 thousand TL level.
Pointing out that there has not been a significant decrease in production costs, Yarkadaş emphasized that in a picture where agriculture and industry are dependent on foreign currency inputs, every increase made adds to inflationary pressure.
FORMER AKP DEPUTY ANNOUNCED THE RANGE
Former AKP deputy Ali Turan, who made evaluations on the program, argued that the minimum wage would exceed 27 thousand TL, but that the increase would not spread over a very wide band.
Stating that AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan does not prefer "rounding" style raises, Turan expressed that the figure could take shape in the range of 27 to 29 thousand TL, and that it would most likely remain below 28 thousand 500 TL.
