With the February inflation data announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), the 2-month inflation difference covering January and February has become clear.
According to the latest figures, the total 2-month inflation difference is 1.33 percent, and the total raise rate is 6.41 percent. Inflation data for March, April, May, and June are awaited for the final raise rate to be applied to civil servant and retiree salaries.

2-MONTH INFLATION DIFFERENCE HAS BECOME CLEAR
According to TÜİK's February inflation data:
January inflation: 5.03%
February inflation: 2.27%
Annual inflation: 39.05%
Total 2-month inflation difference: 1.33%
Total raise rate: 6.41%
Based on this data, the July 2025 raise for civil servants has been calculated at 6.41 percent for now. However, the final rate will change depending on the inflation data of the next four months.
HOW MUCH WILL RETIREE AND CIVIL SERVANT SALARIES INCREASE?
According to the data announced by TÜİK, SSK, Bağ-Kur, and Emekli Sandığı retirees have already qualified for a 7.3 percent raise with the February inflation figures.
For civil servants, the raise rate, including the inflation difference, has been calculated at 6.41 percent for now.
However, these rates may increase with the inflation data for March, April, May, and June. The raise to be applied in July will be calculated based on the first 6 months of inflation data for the year, and the final figures will become clear at the beginning of July.
HOW WILL RAISE RATES BE DETERMINED?
Within the scope of the 2025 collective bargaining agreement for civil servant salaries and civil servant pensions:
A 6% raise is projected for the first 6 months of the year
A 5% raise is projected for the second 6 months.
However, if the inflation rate exceeds this level, an additional difference will be paid to civil servants and retirees. The inflation data to be announced until July will directly affect these rates.
