FEBRUARY 2025 INFLATION FIGURES ANNOUNCED

The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) has announced the Consumer Price Index (CPI) data for February.

According to the announced data, the change in the CPI in February 2025 was recorded as 2.27% compared to the previous month, 7.42% compared to December of the previous year, 39.05% compared to the same month of the previous year, and 53.83% based on the 12-month averages.

WHAT IS THE RENT INCREASE RATE FOR MARCH 2025?

February inflation data was announced by TÜİK, and the potential hike rate to be applied to tenants in March has become clear.

Based on the 12-month inflation average, the ceiling increase rate that can be applied to rent has been determined as 53.83%.

Until July 2024, a 25% rent increase cap was applied to residential rents.
