Passport fees are increasing in 2025! Here are the new prices

As of 2025, passport fees have been increased based on a revaluation rate of 43.93 percent. The 6-month passport fee has become 2,359 TL, while the 1-year passport has risen to 3,424 TL, the 2-year passport to 5,630 TL, and the 3-year passport to 7,999 TL. The fee for passports valid for 3+ years has been announced as 11,274 TL.

PASSPORT BOOKLET FEE HAS ALSO INCREASED

In addition to the increase in passport fees, the passport booklet fee has also been updated for 2025.

The booklet fee, which was 790 TL in 2024, has risen to 1,137 TL. This increase will cause the total cost for those wishing to obtain a passport to rise significantly.

6-month passport fee: 2,359 TL

1-year passport fee: 3,424 TL

WHICH PASSPORT TYPES ARE AVAILABLE?

There are four different types of passports in Turkey based on their purpose of use:

Bordeaux Passport: Ordinary, for all citizens.

Green Passport: For civil servants and certain public officials.

Grey Passport: Service passport, for those traveling abroad for official duties.

Black Passport: Passport used for diplomatic missions.
