AA Finance announced the results of its expectation survey conducted with economists ahead of the June inflation data to be released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) on Thursday, July 3. In the survey, in which 24 economists participated, the average inflation expectation for June was 1.53 percent. Expectations ranged between 1.30 percent and 2.00 percent.

The inflation difference that will emerge for the January-June period will be directly reflected in the salaries of civil servants and civil servant retirees. According to the survey results, annual inflation is also expected to fall slightly in June. Annual inflation, which was 35.41 percent the previous month, is projected to fall to 35.26 percent with the June data.
