Following the raises made to retirement pensions in the new year, private and public banks updated their promotion amounts in February 2025. Some banks are paying up to 27 thousand lira to retirees, including additional payments on top of the base promotion amount.

WHICH BANK OFFERS THE HIGHEST PROMOTION?

The latest retiree pension promotions announced by banks have been revealed. According to NTV, as of February 2025, the current promotion payments from banks are as follows;

İş Bankası retiree promotion

Retirees under the Social Security Institution (SGK) who transfer their pension to İş Bankası and commit to receiving their pension through İş Bankası for a period of 3 years will receive a promotion payment following the transfer of their pension to their İş Bankası account.

The promotion amount is calculated based on the amount corresponding to 1 month of all pension payments mediated (after deducting any liens or alimony deductions) and is paid in advance for 3 years at the rates shown in the table.

Salary Range

Those earning between 0 - 9,999 TL: 5,000 TL

Those earning between 10,000 TL - 14,999 TL: 8,000 TL

Those earning between 15,000 TL - 19,999 TL: 10,000 TL

Those earning 20,000 TL and above: 12,000 TL

Halkbank retiree promotion

All SGK retirees who commit to receiving their pension through our Bank for 3 years can benefit from a promotion payment of up to 12,000 TL.

Salary Amount;

Those with 10,000 TL - 14,999.99 TL: 8,000 TL,

Those with 15,000 TL - 19,999.99 TL: 10,000 TL

Those with 20,000 TL and above will receive a promotion payment of 12,000 TL.

Ziraat Bankası retiree promotion

Customers who receive their SGK (Emekli Sandığı, SSK, Bağ-Kur) pension payments through Ziraat Bankası are offered a promotion payment of up to 12,000 TL. It is sufficient for customers who receive their pensions through the Bank to apply, stating that they will receive their pension payments through Ziraat Bankası for 3 years, in order to benefit from the promotion payment.

Salary amount;

Up to 10,000 TL (excluding 10,000 TL): 5,000 TL,

Between 10,000 TL - 15,000 TL (excluding 15,000 TL): 8,000 TL,

Between 15,000 TL - 20,000 TL (excluding 20,000 TL): 10,000 TL,

20,000 TL and more: 12,000 TL promotion payment will be made.

ING Bank retiree promotion

A cash promotion of up to 25,000 TL for those who transfer their pension to ING.

By transferring your SGK (SSK, Bağ-Kur, and Emekli Sandığı) pension to ING, you can earn a cash promotion of up to 15,000 TL without additional conditions, depending on your salary amount. Furthermore, by taking advantage of additional cash promotions, you can earn a total cash promotion of up to 25,000 TL.

New retirees and those who retired under the EYT (Retirement Age Regulation) can also benefit from the pension promotion.

Akbank retiree promotion

An opportunity for a total reward of 17,500 TL, with a promotion of up to 15,000 TL for those receiving their SGK pension from Akbank, plus 2,500 TL in chip-points!

Retirees who transfer their SSK, Bağkur, or Emekli Sandığı pension to Akbank between February 1 and February 28, 2025, and commit to receiving their pension from our Bank for 3 years, will be able to benefit from a promotion of up to 15,000 TL. In addition, during the campaign period, SGK retirees who provide their first 5 new automatic bill payment instructions from their Akbank demand deposit account or credit cards for Axess/Wings holders will be able to benefit from a reward opportunity of 17,500 TL, with 500 TL per bill, totaling 2,500 TL in chip-points.

If you are a retiree, receive your pension from DenizBank and benefit from a cash promotion of up to 20,000 TL and countless privileges exclusive to retirees.

In addition to the cash promotion of up to 12,000 TL, an additional promotion of up to 8,000 TL is offered to retirees who open a new account at DenizBank and commit to receiving their salary for 3 years, and who are owners of MobilDeniz, a Credit Card, an Automatic Bill Payment Instruction, and an Overdraft Account product, depending on the salary amount.

Yapı Kredi retiree promotion

Customers who commit to receiving their SGK pension through Yapı Kredi for three years between February 1, 2025, and February 28, 2025, will be able to benefit from a cash promotion opportunity of up to 20,000 TL.

After signing the Promotion Commitment, without any additional conditions; 6,250 TL is paid if the monthly net income is up to 9,999 TL; 10,000 TL if it is between 10,000 TL - 14,999 TL; 12,500 TL if it is between 15,000 TL - 19,999 TL; and 15,000 TL if it is above 20,000 TL.

If two new bill payment instructions are given within 60 days after signing the Additional Reward Commitment, an additional cash reward of 2,500 TL is paid, independent of the salary bracket.

If a total of 1,000 TL is spent with primary individual credit cards within 60 days after signing the Additional Reward Commitment, an additional reward of 2,000 TL is paid, independent of the salary bracket. The payment will be made in the month following the month in which the first pension payment is received, provided that the additional reward commitment is not canceled.

Şekerbank retiree promotion

We offer the opportunity to earn promotions at Şekerbank based on salary ranges.

Accordingly, if your salary range is:

Between 0-9,999 TL, you can receive a 5,000 TL promotion;

Between 10,000-14,999 TL, you can receive an 8,000 TL promotion;

TEB retiree promotion

Customers who transfer their pension to TEB and commit to receiving it from TEB for 36 months earn a total promotion of up to 21,000 TL (9,000 TL additional promotion in addition to the main promotion of up to 12,000 TL).

You can earn a total promotion of up to 21,000 TL by earning an additional promotion for your automatic bill payment instructions (provided that at least 2, such as Electricity or Natural Gas bills, are mandatory).

Albaraka retiree promotion

An opportunity for our customers who transfer their pension to Albaraka between October 14 and March 31 to earn a promotion of up to 15,600 TL and a reward of up to 4,400 TL!

Our customers who receive their pension from our bank will earn an additional 1,400 TL reward on top of the promotion if they provide 2 automatic bill payment instructions.
