Retirees' holiday bonuses appear on e-Devlet! When will the payments be made?
All eyes are on Parliament for the 4,000 TL holiday bonus payments to be made to retirees before Ramadan Bayram. Following the regulation's passage through Parliament, the Social Security Institution (SGK) will transfer the bonus payments to the banks where retirees receive their pensions on March 28-29. Currently, the bonus amounts have begun to appear on e-Devlet under the section 'Your Blocked Pension Payments'.
While the investigations launched into the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) have caused tension in Parliament, the assembly could not complete the approval of the legislative proposal containing the retirees' holiday bonuses due to the absence of many deputies from the sessions.
As the opening of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) has been postponed to Tuesday, the regulation in question is expected to be approved starting next week. While the Social Security Institution (SGK) has reached the final stage of preparations to ensure that retirees do not suffer any grievances due to the payment schedule during the intervening period, the bonuses to be paid to approximately 17 million retirees have appeared on e-Devlet.
4,000 LIRA BONUSES WILL BE PAID ON MARCH 28-29
Following the publication of the regulation to be passed by Parliament in the Official Gazette with the signature of President and AKP Chairman Erdoğan, the SGK will transfer the payments for the holiday bonuses to the banks where retirees receive their pensions.
For retirees affiliated with the SSK, Bağ-Kur, and the Pension Fund (Emekli Sandığı), bonus payments will be completed on March 28-29. The amount to be paid has been added to the 'Blocked Pension Payments' section on e-Devlet.
