Simit price in Istanbul rises to 20 TL
It was observed that the price of simit in Istanbul rose to 20 TL in the morning hours. The simit, which was sold for around 15 TL in recent days, has started to be sold for 20 TL, marking a 33 percent increase. The Istanbul Simit Producers and Sellers Association announced that the price hike was implemented due to rising production costs and the impact of economic conditions.
In Istanbul, the price of simit has started to be offered for sale at even higher prices in some districts, exceeding 20 TL.

According to the statement made by the Istanbul Simit Producers and Sellers Association, there has been an increase in simit prices. In line with the new decision, the price of a simit has been set at 20 TL.
The association announced that the price increase was carried out due to rising production costs and the impact of economic conditions. It was reported that the new prices will be valid at simit production and sales points in Istanbul.
100 gram simit: 20 TL
100 gram cake: 20 TL
100 gram çatal (pastry): 20 TL
