They announced the lowest pension: They revealed the raise rate hours in advance

The inflation rate announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) on January 5 clarified the raise to be applied to the pensions of SSK and Bağ-Kur retirees.

According to the statement, the increase to be applied to retirees' pensions was determined as 12.19 percent. At the same time, the inflation difference rate granted to civil servant retirees was 18.60 percent.

According to the Social Security Institution (SGK) legislation, the determined raise rate will be directly reflected in the base pensions of retirees.

However, in order to increase the lowest pension, a legislative proposal must be submitted to the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM).

The economic management has completed its preparations for the increase in the lowest pension and announced that the regulation will be submitted to Parliament today.

THE LOWEST PENSION IS BECOMING 20 THOUSAND TL

The negotiations between the economic management and the ruling party concluded as of yesterday. According to the statements made, the lowest pension will be increased from 16 thousand 881 TL to 20 thousand TL.

According to Türkiye Gazetesi, nearly 7 million retirees will benefit from this regulation. Although no official figure has been announced so far, the lowest pension is expected to be set at 20 thousand TL.
