When will holiday bonuses be paid before Ramadan Feast? Who will receive how much?

The holiday bonus regulation, which is included in the omnibus bill set to be discussed in the TBMM General Assembly today, is expected to be enacted late Wednesday.

WHEN WILL THE PAYMENTS BE MADE?

Considering that the Ramadan Feast will begin on March 30, payments are expected to be made before the holiday.

Following the completion of the process in Parliament, it is more likely that payments will be made between Monday, March 24, and Friday, March 28.

WHEN WILL THE BONUSES FOR EID AL-ADHA BE DEPOSITED?

Bonuses are expected to be deposited into accounts before the holiday week begins.

The Eid al-Adha bonus, which falls between June 6-9, will also be deposited into accounts between June 2-5.

Payment days for those retired from SSK, Bağ-Kur, and the Retirement Fund (Emekli Sandığı) will be deposited on different days according to their allocation numbers.

WHO WILL RECEIVE THE HOLIDAY BONUS?

Payment dates will be announced to the public by the Social Security Institution (SGK). The holiday bonus is paid not only to those receiving a retirement pension but also to those receiving old-age pensions, duty disability pensions, disability pensions, death benefits, and permanent incapacity income.

WHO WILL RECEIVE HOW MUCH?

Retirees will receive the holiday bonus at the same rate of 4,000 TL. However, those receiving widow and orphan pensions will benefit from the payments according to their share ratio.

Those receiving a pension from a deceased spouse will be entitled to 75 percent, those who are retired or working and receiving a pension from a deceased spouse will be entitled to 50 percent, and orphans will be entitled to 25 percent of the bonus.

For example, during the Ramadan Feast, those receiving a pension from a deceased spouse will receive 75 percent of 4,000 TL, which is 3,000 TL. Those receiving two separate pensions will be able to receive the bonus based on the pension that allows for the highest payment.

The holiday bonus is paid not only to those receiving a retirement pension but also to those receiving old-age pensions, duty disability pensions, disability pensions, death benefits, and permanent incapacity income.

Relatives of martyrs, veterans, combat veterans, security guards, champion athletes, and civilian citizens affected by terrorism, as well as the beneficiaries of these individuals, also receive the holiday bonus.
