Gold prices on the rise again: How much were gram, quarter, and Republic gold on October 15, 2026?

Gold prices moved upward again on Thursday, October 15, 2026. According to free market data, gram gold was traded at 6,592 TL, quarter gold at 10,809 TL, and Republic gold at 43,096 TL.

In global markets, spot gold found support after the US Dollar retreated from its 18-month high. Inflation data in the US that exceeded expectations and uncertainty regarding the Fed's interest rate policy continue to be the main agenda for pricing in precious metals.

In international markets, spot gold rose 1.3 percent to 4,158.63 dollars per ounce. US December gold futures also increased by 1.8 percent, reaching the 4,180 dollar level. Spot gold had seen its lowest level since October 7 on the previous day.

The Fed's next move is being closely watched in the markets. Capital.com Senior Financial Markets Analyst Kyle Rodda stated that the volatility stems from uncertainty regarding US interest rate policy. According to Rodda, if strong economic data strengthens expectations for an interest rate hike, the level just below 4,000 dollars for gold prices could come back onto the agenda.

As consumer prices accelerated in September due to the sharp rise in gasoline prices in the US, the fact that inflation data came in above expectations brought interest rate debates to the forefront once again. According to CME FedWatch data, the probability the markets assign to an interest rate hike this month rose to 27 percent from the 22 percent level before the data.

Messages from Fed officials are also affecting pricing. San Francisco Fed President Mary Daly stated that short-term interest rates might need to be raised further, while indicating that an interest rate hike is not mandatory at the October 27-28 meeting. Fed Vice Chair Michelle Bowman stated that there is time to monitor economic developments before a new decision.

Investors' focus will be on the US producer price index and retail sales data to be announced today at 15:30 Turkey time. This data is expected to have an impact on the inflation outlook and expectations regarding the Fed's interest rate path.

Other precious metals also accompanied the rise in gold. Spot silver rose 1.1 percent to 56.26 dollars, platinum rose 0.3 percent to 1,611.15 dollars, and palladium rose 1.3 percent to 1,107.83 dollars.
