Helping companies create studio-quality images at a low cost: Titan Image Generator

Tech giants continue to invest in AI-powered applications at full speed. American e-commerce giant Amazon has introduced its AI-powered image generator, Titan Image Generator, which will help companies in the advertising, e-commerce, media, and entertainment sectors create realistic, studio-quality images in large volumes and at a low cost.

On the first day of its annual AWS event, held specifically for its corporate clients, the company introduced Q, an AI-powered corporate chatbot that competes with Microsoft's Copilot product in every aspect, and then put on a show by also introducing the AI-powered image generator, Titan Image Generator.

Amazon's AI-powered image generator is positioned as a competitor to AI image generation bots such as DALL-E, Midjourney, and Bing AI Image Generator.

“AMAZON'S IMAGE GENERATOR CAN TURN TEXT INTO IMAGES”

As part of Amazon's Titan family of generative AI models, Titan Image Generator can create new images from a text description or customize existing images.

Swami Sivasubramanian, Vice President of Data and AI at AWS, said in his presentation, “For example, you can use this AI-powered model to easily replace an existing background with a rainforest background.”

The company does not specify exactly where these datasets come from or whether it has obtained permission from all creators and rights holders for the images it used to train Titan Image Generator.

In a statement from Amazon, it was noted, “As a content creator, you can now use Amazon Titan Image Generator to quickly create and refine images using English natural language prompts. This helps companies in the advertising, e-commerce, media, and entertainment sectors create realistic, studio-quality images in large volumes and at a low cost. The model makes it easy to iterate on image concepts by generating multiple image options based on text descriptions.

The model can understand complex prompts containing multiple objects and produce relevant images. It has been trained on high-quality, diverse data to produce more accurate outputs, such as realistic images with inclusive attributes and limited distortions.” Amazon Titan Image Generator is currently only available to its corporate customers.
