A high-level appointment has been made at A101, one of the chain markets operating across Turkey. It has been announced that Talat Olgay, who has served in various areas of responsibility within the company for the past five years, will become the CEO of A101 starting January 1, 2026.

According to the information provided, Olgay joined A101 in 2021. During this time, he served as a member of the Operations Committee and as an Executive Board Member responsible for operations, where he was involved in the company's operations in Turkey, its organizational structure, and its international activities.
Throughout his career, Talat Olgay has worked at various companies in the retail and fast-moving consumer goods sectors. He has held sales, marketing, and management positions at firms such as Danone, Nestlé Waters, PepsiCo, and L’Oréal.
In his new role, Olgay is expected to lead the company's growth, efficiency, and customer experience objectives within the framework of A101's existing store network and operational structure. It was stated that the appointment is part of an approach to promote internal managers to senior positions.
