High-level dismissal at Getir Turkey
Batuhan Gültakan, CEO of Getir Turkey, announced that he was dismissed from his position without any justification provided.
Batuhan Gültakan, CEO of Getir Turkey, which operates in the rapid delivery sector, has announced that he was dismissed from his position due to tensions and disagreements during the company's restructuring process.
Speaking to Reuters regarding the matter, Gültakan stated, "Last week, the Turkey board of directors, consisting of the sons of Getir founder Nazım Salur, terminated my position - without any justification."

A restructuring plan prepared by Mubadala, the company's largest shareholder, which was arranged to the detriment of the founding partners, was approved at the general assembly last month. However, the founding partners, led by Nazım Salur, had opposed this plan.
Gültakan, who began working at Getir in 2015, had risen to the CEO position seven years later. While no official reason was provided for his dismissal, a source speaking to Reuters indicated that Gültakan had received full support from Mubadala.
