Huge increase in the 2025 fresh tea purchase price!
The purchase price for fresh tea for 2025 has increased by 33.9 percent to 25.44 TL.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry has set the fresh tea purchase price for 2025 at 25.44 TL. The new price represents a 33.9 percent increase over last year's price of 19 TL.
In a statement made on the Ministry's official X account, it was noted that the fresh tea harvest in 2024 reached 1 million 430 thousand tons.
ÇAYKUR purchased 783 thousand tons of fresh tea across 49 fresh tea factories in 2024, and it was stated that the company aims to make a similar amount of purchases this year.
With the determination of the new price, a significant increase in income has been provided for tea producers.
