Huge price hike coming for driver's licenses
The revaluation rate for 2023 has been set at 58.46 percent. Driver's license fees will be increased by this same rate.
The Ministry of Treasury and Finance's Tax Procedure Law Communiqué has been published in the Official Gazette.
It was noted that the revaluation rate for 2023 has been set at 58.46 percent.
Accordingly, the estimated fee schedules for 2024 have also been determined.
The fee for the most commonly applied-for Class B driver's license is expected to exceed 5 thousand liras. If a driver wants to obtain a Class B license, they currently have to spend 3 thousand 258 liras, including the fee, the cost of the valuable paper, and the foundation service fee.
This figure is expected to rise to 5 thousand 162 liras in 2024. If a total increase equal to the revaluation rate is applied to Class A, A1, A2, and F driver's licenses, the figure could rise to 2 thousand 525 liras.
