Hunger threshold study shows the current state of the minimum wage: It melted in two months

According to the calculation results based on household consumption expenditures over the hunger threshold, the poverty line is 55 thousand 691 liras.

POVERTY LINE FOR A PERSON LIVING ALONE IS 25 THOUSAND

According to the report, the total amount of kitchen expenses a person living alone must make for healthy and balanced nutrition, along with expenses for housing, transportation, education, and health to maintain their life, must be at least 25 thousand 568 liras. Accordingly, the poverty line for a person living alone is 25 thousand 568 liras.

DAIRY PRODUCTS AT THE TOP

In daily expenditures, the highest cost group in February was milk and dairy products with 170.72 liras. The minimum expenditure amount required for the meat, chicken, and fish group is 109.40 liras. The daily expenditure amount required for vegetables and fruits rose to 124.28 liras. The expenditure amount required for bread rose to 33.38 liras daily, and for solid and liquid oils to 30.80 liras. Eggs were 10.69 liras, and sugar, honey, jam, and molasses were 13.40 liras.
