Index contract starts the day flat on VIOP (20.03.2024)

On the Borsa Istanbul Derivatives and Options Market (VIOP), the BIST 30 index-based contract for April delivery traded at 9,941.00 points in the opening session, just above the previous normal session close.
The index contract, which followed a bullish trend yesterday, completed the normal session at 9,938.00 points, up 2.8 percent from its previous close. The index contract remained flat during the evening session.
While global markets are focused today on the US Federal Reserve's (Fed) monetary policy decisions and the statements of Fed Chair Jerome Powell, risk appetite remains positive, albeit limited.
