Index contract starts the day with a decline in VIOP (09.04.2024)
The April-dated contract based on the BIST 30 index on the Borsa Istanbul Derivatives Market (VIOP) started the day with a 0.1 percent decrease at 10,684.00 points.
The April-dated index contract on the Borsa Istanbul Derivatives Market (VIOP) traded at 10,684.00, 0.1 percent below the previous normal session close, during the opening session.
Yesterday, the index contract followed a volatile course and completed the normal session at 10,698.75 points, 0.1 percent above its previous close. The index contract was at 10,693.00 points in the evening session.
Analysts stated that global equity markets are following a cautious course ahead of the inflation data to be announced in the US tomorrow, and noted that Borsa Istanbul will operate for a half-day today ahead of the Ramadan Feast holiday.
