Initial market reactions to the postponement of the CHP convention case
Following the postponement of the CHP convention case to October 24, Borsa Istanbul recorded a rapid rise, reaching 10,751 points.
Borsa Istanbul experienced a strong rally following the decision to postpone the CHP convention case.
In the case heard at the Ankara 42nd Civil Court of First Instance, the court adjourned the hearing to a later date. It was decided that the next session of the CHP convention case will be held on October 24, 2025.
Following the court's decision, an increase in value exceeding 3 percent was observed on Borsa Istanbul. The index reached the highest levels of the day, climbing up to 10,751 points.
In foreign exchange markets, the dollar continues to trade at 41.3370 lira, while the euro is trading at 48.5632 lira.
