Investments in the cryptocurrency sector continue in Turkey
Ak Yatırım has announced the acquisition of a majority stake in the cryptocurrency platform Stablex Bilişim Teknoloji Anonim Şirketi.
Ak Yatırım has acquired a majority stake in Stablex Bilişim Teknoloji Anonim Şirketi, a cryptocurrency platform that provides innovative, reliable, and sustainable services in the crypto market.
According to a statement from Akbank, Stablex, which began operating under the Ak Yatırım umbrella following a signing ceremony held in May 2023, is preparing to offer the best in the Turkish cryptocurrency sector through its customer-focused initiatives.
In the statement, Mert Erdoğmuş, Chairman of the Board of Stablex and General Manager of Ak Yatırım, stated that they would accelerate existing efforts with the goal of having Stablex play a role in building the digital assets of the future, noting the following:
"We have made this investment in Stablex to respond to the need for reliable and innovative services in the cryptocurrency market, which has transformed into a significant investment vehicle. Stablex reflects our values with its existing experience in the sector, the 'firsts' it has achieved, and its professional service approach. We are the first platform among cryptocurrency trading platforms in Turkey to offer a demo account."
Güney stated that in the new era, Stablex will continue to play a role in the development of the sector while strengthening its innovative and agile services under the Ak Yatırım umbrella.
