IPA reveals! What are the top three problems for Istanbul residents?

The Istanbul Planning Agency (IPA) has published its December Istanbul Agenda Survey. According to the findings, the top three problems for Istanbul residents are traffic, economic issues, and the Istanbul earthquake. The research also revealed that 55.9 percent of citizens living in Istanbul either only pay the minimum amount on their credit card debt or do not pay it at all.

IPA reveals! What are the top three problems for Istanbul residents?

In the research compiled by the IPA based on the opinions of 1,027 people, the top 3 problems for those living in Istanbul were listed as traffic, economic issues, and the Istanbul earthquake.

According to the research, economic issues topped the agenda with 53.3 percent.

The research also revealed that 55.9 percent of Istanbul residents pay only the minimum amount on their credit card debt or are unable to pay it at all.

In December, 28.7 percent of participants stated that they could not make some of their payments and were going into debt, 8.4 percent stated that they were actually struggling to make ends meet, and 39.1 percent stated that they were getting by "barely," while the rate of those who stated they could make ends meet and save money was 23.8 percent.

According to the responses of participants who were asked to evaluate their emotional state in December on a scale of 1 to 10, the average stress level of Istanbul residents was 6.6, and the anxiety level was 5.8. Life satisfaction was measured at 5, and the happiness level was 6.
