It was claimed it would open on March 24: Kent Lokantaları have been closed for 15 days!
The trustee-managed Şişli Municipality had announced that the Kent Lokantaları (City Restaurants) were closed due to supply issues and would resume service on March 24. However, according to a post on the social media account of the Republican People's Party (CHP) Communication, Press and Media Channel, the restaurants have remained closed for 15 days.
Following the 'terrorism' and 'corruption' operations targeting the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB), a trustee was appointed to the Şişli Municipality. While the Kent Lokantaları, established by the İBB, ceased operations following the arrest warrant issued for Şişli Mayor Resul Emrah Şahan, the trustee-managed Şişli Municipality had stated that the Kent Lokantaları had not closed, but were experiencing supply shortages.
IT WAS CLAIMED IT WOULD OPEN ON MARCH 24
In its statement, the Şişli Municipality announced that the Kent Lokantaları had been closed since March 19 due to problems in material supply, but that District Governor Ertürkmen had given instructions for them to reopen upon taking office on March 24. However, despite 15 days having passed, the restaurants remain closed.
The Republican People's Party (CHP) Communication, Press and Media Channel brought the issue back to the agenda by asking on its social media account, 'What happened to the Kent Lokantaları in Şişli? Do you still claim they are open?' This post once again highlighted the fact that the restaurants have been closed for 15 days.
