October inflation, which will directly affect the minimum wage, will be announced on Monday. Ahead of the decision, economists participating in the AA Finance Inflation Expectation Survey estimated that the Consumer Price Index (CPI) would increase by 2.46 percent in October.
Ahead of the October inflation data to be announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute on Monday, November 4, the results of the AA Finance expectation survey have been released.
While 16 economists participated in the survey, the average inflation expectation for October was 2.46 percent.
Economists' inflation expectations for October ranged between 2 percent and 2.75 percent.
Based on the average of economists' October inflation expectations (2.46 percent), it is projected that annual inflation, which was 49.38 percent in the previous month, will decrease to 47.98 percent.
On the other hand, economists' year-end inflation expectation for 2024 was 44.23 percent in October.
The Consumer Price Index had recorded an increase of 2.97 percent in September.
