KKM balance drops to 42.4 billion dollars
The total balance of the Foreign Exchange Protected Deposit (KKM) accounts at the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (TCMB) has fallen to approximately 42 billion 440 million dollars.

The TCMB has published the October results for the stock balances of Foreign Currency Protected Deposit/Participation (DDKKM) and Turkish Lira Protected Deposit/Participation (TL KKM) accounts.
According to the data, the total DDKKM stock balance decreased by 6.1 billion dollars in October, falling from 48.5 billion dollars to 42.4 billion dollars.
The DDKKM stock balance for individuals fell by 3.6 billion dollars from 35.9 billion dollars to 32.3 billion dollars, while the DDKKM stock balance for legal entities decreased by 2.5 billion dollars from 12.6 billion dollars to 10.1 billion dollars.
The Turkish Lira KKM stock balance also fell by 1.5 billion liras in October, dropping from 2.8 billion liras to 1.3 billion liras.
The released data indicated that the total KKM balance is approximately 42 billion 440 million dollars.
