President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended the "Meeting with Youth" program held at the Şahinbey National Library during his visit to Gaziantep yesterday.

Speaking at the event, Erdoğan announced that the scholarship amount to be provided to university students in 2025 will be increased from 2,000 liras to 3,000 liras as of January.
WHAT ARE KYK SCHOLARSHIPS AND LOANS?
The KYK scholarship is known as a non-repayable financial support program offered to higher education students in Turkey. Students can benefit from this support based on their academic success or financial need. The KYK loan, on the other hand, refers to financial support provided to students through a repayment system.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR A KYK SCHOLARSHIP?
KYK scholarships are available for undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students. Priority application groups include children of martyrs and veterans, orphaned students, and individuals with disabilities. Scholarship applications are evaluated annually according to established criteria.
