Tomorrow is the last day for property tax payments

The deadline for the second installment of property tax, which is paid in two installments each year, expires tomorrow. Owners of buildings, land, and workplaces must complete their payments within this period.

Taxpayers can make payments by visiting the municipality where the property is registered or by using the online services of integrated municipalities via the e-Government system. If payments are not made by the specified date, a late payment interest rate of 3.5 percent per month will be applied.

Retirees who own a single residence smaller than 200 square meters gross, those receiving retirement, widow, or orphan pensions, individuals with disabilities, veterans, and citizens without income documentation are exempt from property tax. These groups are exempt from tax liability and do not make payments.
