Those who wish to obtain a residence permit through investment can apply for a residence permit in Latvia by fulfilling certain conditions.

Qualification requirements include investing in the equity of a Latvian company and making a specific payment to the state budget. The application process takes 30-90 days, and the residence permit is valid for five years.

Applicants who wish to obtain a residence permit through the Latvia Residence by Investment Program must commit 50 thousand Euros to the equity of a Latvian company (provided that the company pays at least 40,000 Euros in taxes annually)

and must also make a one-time payment of 10 thousand Euros to the state budget.

The residence permit obtained through this program offers the advantage of traveling freely within Europe, and the applicant's family can also apply for a residence permit.

After five years, the applicant can apply for a permanent residence permit and, by fulfilling certain conditions, can transition to Latvian citizenship.

The World Turkish Business Council (DTİK), which operates under the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEİK), aims to provide a roadmap for Turkish citizens who want to do business in Latvia.
