Loan agreement from Eximbank
Türk Eximbank has announced that it has signed a 10-year loan agreement worth 285.7 million dollars with a consortium of banks under the guarantee of the AIIB. The bank also concluded a second agreement worth 1 billion euros.
In a statement made by Eximbank to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), it was stated that "Our bank signed a loan agreement on May 7, 2024, to secure 285.7 million USD in funding with a 10-year maturity from a consortium of banks under the guarantee of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB)."
In a separate KAP statement, the institution also signed a 10-year loan agreement worth 1 billion euros with a consortium of banks. The loan in question was provided under the guarantee of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) and the counter-guarantee of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance.
